When grinding with conventional abrasive material, electrostatic charges and fields always develop. The conductive properties of the working piece decide how high the electrostatic charges will be. Wood, for instance is a poor conductor. Varnish has no conductive properties at all. Therefore sanding dust creates great problems in the woodworking industry

When sanding with conventional abrasive material, the sanding dust is spread all over on account of the electrostatic fields. When sanding with chargefree SLIPNAXOS NAXOSTAT, the sanding dust becomes aerodynamically bound.
