ABRASIVOS REUNIDOS, S.A. was formed on 19 June 1974 as the continuation of a number of companies that first appeared in the market back in 1965.
For over 35 years, four main pillars have acted as columns enabling the business pursued to remain stable and consistent. We are proud of having honoured our commitments, of having grown, of the prudence evinced by the company, and of having imbued our action in society with a sense of ethics.
And it is our wish to carry on honouring our commitments by satisfying our customers through product improvements, as well as honouring our commitments with our suppliers and with our employees.
To carry on growing is another aim of our company. We have grown from those 24 square metres we started to the 2.000 square metres in Sant Joan Despí. And, since the year 2000, we have a very modern own facilities of 8.000 square metres located in Sant Ermengol Industrial State in the village of ABRERA (Barcelona).
Slow but sure. That is the watchword behind the prudence shown in all our strategic decisions, we having preferred to progress with the security of investing our own resources rather than trying to go faster by seeking external leverage.
We have thus stood shoulder to shoulders with our customers, suppliers and employees. In good times and bad alike, prudence is the buffer that has enabled us to soften the blows of market swings.
Ethics - the compass that shows us where north is, the direction of our strategy as a company. We have never accepted ambivalent, murky situations. We have opted for clarity, always explaining the truth backed with reasons, taking responsibility for our approach.
On the basis of these fundamental principles, ABRASIVOS REUNIDOS, S.A. has organized its product range, seeking the best value-for-money, and naturally offering immediate service as an unquestioned premise.
Our business organization covers the whole of the Iberian Peninsula and the islands of Spain. We have our own branch Offices in Valencia and Elda (Alicante), and it is our intention to go on extending our physical presence in other Autonomous Communities in Spain in order to get nearer to our points of consumption.
ABRASIVOS REUNIDOS, S.A. imports raw materials from Germany, Sweden, Korea and Italy in jumborolls, which are manufactured in the form of wide belts, narrow belts, rolls, disks and flap wheels too.
Through the diversity on offer from the large international brands, the most suitable product for the application requested can always be obtained. We believe that this versatility is decisive for our company’s leadership in market segments such as finishing varnished and lacquered surfaces and surfaces treated with polyesters, polyurethanes and polyacrylics.
The products for metal industry have a lot of success in our customers mainly in the stainless steel polish.
Our logo summarizes and sums up what our future in society is and aims to go on being: a honeycomb made with the efforts of a great team of people, with different hexagons (cells) being added as time goes by in which are deposited the fruits of conscientious, systematic work: experience and the technological process.
